Beach & Poolside Bliss - Family-Friendly Maui Stay — Guest Reviews

Condo was a great fit for our family of 6. The kids had fun in the pool and practiced snorkeling before heading into the ocean. The central location was ideal for our launching point for several Maui adventures including road to Hāna and snorkeling on West Maui and of course Molokini. Beds were comfortable. AC units were a bit loud and struggled to keep up but we were glad to have them. Be advised the roosters will provide a loud 5am wake up every day but given the number of chickens we saw on the island that’s likely true of anywhere you stay! All in all this space provided tremendous value as we would require two rooms as a resort or hotel.

We had a wonderful stay! My family was comfortable and felt safe for our whole trip. The beds were magical like clouds to fall into after a long day exploring the island. The Airbnb was clean and spacious and packed with all the things we could need during our stay. We loved using the beach chairs, towels and cooler at all the local spots. There’s also a turtle sanctuary just across the street where we saw turtles every morning resting, swimming and even laying eggs. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely choose it again.

This place has a lot of potential. Great location, awesome pool, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. A few things really affected our stay: 1. The AC units are very loud and may bother light sleepers. There is no fan in the downstairs bedroom and the AC there turn off by itself during the night and we couldn’t figure out why. 2. The windows are old and not sealed well, which led to a major issue with gnats and flies during our stay after the floods. Every evening the place was filled with insects, and by morning there were hundreds dead on the floors. We couldn’t turn lights on after dark, and the bugs were everywhere, beds, bathroom, and around our food. It was especially stressful with our small kids, and I had to clean floors and the kitchen every morning. We contacted the host after the first night, and while they provided indoor fly traps, the solution wasn’t helpful. It would get covered with insects within an hour and became useless.

my group of six had a great time here! there was some construction related dust accumulated on the floor and near windows when we arrived, but the host addressed our concerns immediately. they sent a cleaner within an hour of being informed and provided us a generous voucher to get dinner while we waited. they were incredibly responsive and accommodating. the unit itself has everything you need: dishes, towels, beach chairs, a cooler, and even hair styling tools! if you’re considering a stay here, you won’t regret it.

Our stay was just as the pictures showed, the host was extremely responsive and very helpful with local recommendations. Everything was clean and well maintained and the proximity to amenities was a short drive away. This is a great spot, close to the airport and easily accessible to all parts of the island. If you are coming with young children, be aware that the full time residents prefer complete silence so be wary when visiting the green space pool any hour of the day.

The place was perfect, it had everything we needed for our stay at Maui. Spacious and clean. We were a quick drive away from everything, and the beach. We visited this property right after a very intense storm in March 2026, and the host informed us there was a leak during the storm. During our stay, the rain leaked through kitchen and so the 4 stars. The host was really helpful and communicative through it.

This property was exactly like the photos shared and is a wonderful space, was very clean, and in a great location. Both bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and so comfortable. The beach is a quick walk away and there are lots of restaurants and things to do in the surrounding area. The pool/hot tub at the condo was also available and great!

We had a great stay here, travelled with 3 kids (2,5,6) and the home was a wonderful. It looks like the photos, the beds were comfortable and the house is modern and clean. They had a pop up crib for my baby, and we're kind to have it set up upon arrival. I do wish they have more kid friendly plates/cups and beach toys. The host team were incredible to correspond with. From the days leading up to our stay, and throughout the vacation, you had full contact with someone. They also provided a really user friendly website explaining all the check in/out protocols, spots to see and amenities provided ect. I did message about a few concerns for safety/missing items in their stated inventory, and they were professionally addressed and prompt to help resolve the situation if possible. The pool is small, we used it everyday but there wasn't anyone there which was nice. Having a car is definitely an asset as the units are not in walkable distance to stores, but the beaches were all 2-7 minutes a

Great location and sizable unit for a small group! There was a beach a short walk away to catch some rays directly, and a roofed patio to sit in to get out of the sun. The hosts were very responsive when I reached out about a ceiling fan issue!

Great location on Kihei! Loved our stay.

Just as advertised! No surprises.We had 6 in our group (2yrs old to 62yrs old). The condo was comfortable. The kitchen has just what is needed. Gas bbq available also.We asked advice on places on Maui, Kevin our host was quick to respond and very nice. When a maintenance issue came up it was handled timely.Sand chairs and a couple of boogie boards are available for use. We also used a pack and play that’s available in the condo.The grounds are beautiful. And the pool and hot tub we used daily. The location was easily accessible.The other people staying at the complex are all pleasant.We would stay again!

Yes, our host was great

It's a beautiful unit in a good location, right on Kihei, a busy but important thoroughfare. It's not directly on the ocean, but beaches are easy walking distance. We were on a family vacation with teenager and older kids, and used master and guest BR as well as pull out couch - in all a bit cramped for six, but we made do and had a wonderful trip.

Property was great, very spacious and the views were amazing, only thing to improve upon would be the small ants in the bathroom but that’s hard to get away from when you’re in Hawaii.

Had an amazing stay! The condo was cute and tucked away in a perfect central location in Kiehe! Parking was easy and there were always guests spots available!m. The condo was spacious and perfect for 4 guests! My only complaint is that there were a ton of little gnats that would come at night. Hopefully there’s something to fix this! Other than that, the place was beautiful, and it has AC so we stayed nice and cool during our trip! Thanks for hosting us! xx

Condo was clean and appears newly remodeled and decorated. We really enjoyed our stay, the location was fantastic, short walk to the beach, nice garden areas around condo, very kid friendly. Condo Management was easy to work with, responsive and very helpful!

We had a wonderful stay! Any questions or concerns the responsiveness was impeccable. The only two complaints I have, is the beach umbrellas were broken and a beach chair. However they had a good quantity amount of chairs. Secondly, the ants in the master bedroom on the second floor and a water bug or cockroach in the downstairs bathtub. I loved that the kitchen was equipped with everything needed. And the complimentary coffee was a sweet gesture. We did love the shallow beach for the kiddos located across the street and seeing sea turtles on the rocks surrounding the shallow pool, was a bonus. Overall our stay was great.

Host was very helpful and responsive..we had an issue with a missing pool key, and we had a replacement key literally hours later!! Great clear communication…would definitely recommend!

Beautiful property that was very well taken, relatively spacious, and centrally situated. My only recommendation would be for a showerhead that is removable so be able to better wash down toddlers from remnants of the beach. It bears calling out that the owner's responsiveness was top tier. They were available by text and typically responded within 30 minutes, usually within 5-10 minutes.

Great little spot. 3 adults and 4 kids. Cozy setup for us for sure but we knew that when we booked it. Some furniture items were wobbly but they came out and fixed 1 after it was mentioned. Cute space and it’s tucked back father from the street. Roosters start doing their thing about 4am but that’s part of being on Maui so just bring ears plugs if that bothers you. Only negative to say would be the parking space assigned is very tight and lines up next to the dumpster wall. So it made us very nervous with our rental car. The balcony was our favorite spot to hang out every day. Would stay again and would recommend

Location is fairly central to lots of sites on the island although it is located on a busy road without much to walk to. Nice view from the porch but if the ac is running the porch is hot and noisy. No screens on any doors or windows so limited to accessing the nice ocean breeze and have to use the ac units which are noisy. We were a group of 6. The second bedroom is not set up for 4 teenager or adults. It is very small, the double bed is not stable for two sleepers and there is nowhere to put any luggage. We ended up having to just spread everything out on the floor and someone had to use the pull out sofa which severely limited the common space. The kitchen is well stocked with the exception of glassware. There were only 6 mugs and 6 glasses. We did appreciate the laundry facilities as well as the beach towels, chairs and cooler. This is a nicely located unit that would be a lot better with a few more amenities and probably best for no more than 4 adults.

Stayed at Luxe Maui Properties for our first trip to Maui. It was such a beautiful location, it felt like we were at a tropical forest with all the birds singing. Walkable distance to the beach and other local shops. The place was spacious and clean. Love all the nature lighting. We had a great time. The costume service excellent.

Nice family friendly property Condo common areas were lovely. Walking distance to beach. Condo was laid out well and comfortably fit our family of 6. Communication with property manager was exceptional. The only down sides were the lack of towels (specifically no beach towels), kitchen table is quite wobbly and nobody had turned out the a/c prior to our arrival and the home was HOT, specifically the upstairs bedroom. We had to purchase some fans to get through the night but by the next day it was fine.

Overall positive stay, however we had a few hiccups . The Internet was out almost our whole stay, we restarted both modems repeatedly but unfortunately were unable to successfully connect. The living room windows are also uncovered so it decreases that spaces privacy. Lastly there is a very strong mildew smell from the washer that remained there even after we did an empty wash. Pros- the location is amazing and so close to the airport, multiple beaches and restaurants. It was very spacious for a couple, could probably comfortably house 2-3 couples. Fully stocked kitchen (utensils/cookware wise). AC units in the master bedroom, guest bedroom and living area- each is individually controlled. Overall would recommend this stay if it’s within your budget :)

Great stay! Close to everything but also secluded enough for the island feel. Across the street from a small private beach. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. The house offered beach towels, beach chairs, and even a cooler for use. It’s also a less than 5 minute drive from some great food trucks and famous shaved ice. We’ll definitely stay here again!!

Fantastic communication from the host. Short walk to the beach. In the center of Kihei so you’re closer to restaurants, grocery stores etc.

Overall we loved staying here! Beautiful place! A couple things worth noting… if traveling with children, the pool and general areas have super strict rules. Our boys were super bummed and it’s def more of an adult setting. They were tossing a football outside and were told to stop by a board member. The pool doesn’t allow jumping, music or fun of any kind, so we weren’t able to spend as much time there as we’d liked. As far as rooms go, we had more adults than children and there was really only one adult room. The queen bed was in the couch in the living room, which didn’t allow for any privacy or storage for luggage, and of course the bed had to be put up at during the day. Also, there was construction happening next door, which made things very dusty! The construction started early and lasted all day, so even while hanging by the pool, that was all we could hear. Communication was great with the host, very responsive! Lastly, the rooster wakes up at 4:30AM, and so do you - zzzzzzz

Spent a little over a week here with family and had a blast. Great central location with a beach in walking distance but also a short distance to a ton of different beaches and restaurants.

Our group of 7 fit comfortably & it is a very central location to the many things to do in Maui! Close to beach & places to eat. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing stay at this place! The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. The location was perfect, close to all the major sights but still in a quiet area for a good night’s rest. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, providing great local tips and making sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!"

We enjoyed family time at the resort. Positive: The setting, design & space; master bedroom; private pool; washer/drier. Negative: It wasn’t thoroughly clean throughout. The living area’s air con needed a filter change.

Aloha! The unit at Kihei Resort was an excellent home base for our activities. We were able to cross the street and walk up and down the beach which also had a swimming area in the ocean. The unit was extremely easy to check in and out and to feel safe when we were out during the day. The cleanliness was excellent in the kitchen and bathrooms. The upstairs bedroom was very comfortable for a good night's rest. The Luxe Maui Properties communicated very well for check in, check out and being responsive to questions. They were always a step ahead in providing directions and accessibility to the unit. Overall, the one week stay was excellent!

A nice end-unit, top-floor condo in a small, quiet community in a quiet part of Kihei. The location was perfect since we had meetings at the Humpback Whale Sanctuary across the street. This is a quiet part of Kihei, far walking-wise from restaurants and amenities, so we were in our car a lot. We didn't use the nearby beaches, which were very windy in the afternoons, but seemed nice in the morning. The property is nicely landscaped, and we enjoyed the pool a couple times, although it's not kid-friendly as the managers strictly enforce limits on noise and splashing since the pool faces many Lanais. The interior of the condo was nice and the air-conditioning worked fine, although was overmatched in the afternoons. Supplies were on the less-generous side as far as AirBnBs are concerned with sparse kitchen ingredients. There was adequate dish/cookware. Beds were comfortable. The upstairs bedroom got very bright in the morning as there are no shades for the skylights. Would stay again.

This was a cozy place and perfect for our group, the beach equipment and towels were very handy and nice to have! For how much people must go to the beach and get sand everywhere, this place was very clean and unworn. Thanks for having us!

Perfect place for a family getaway! I was looking for a place that was clean and comfortable, not overdecorated or cluttered. This condo was absolutely perfect. I slept like a dream. We enjoyed cooking our meals in the well stocked kitchen. Perfect place for a weekend getaway from a neighbor island. Thank you!

Kihei close to the beach We booked this property in Kehei to be close to the beach. It is a little bit of a walk or drive but totally worth it for this really nice unit. The owner lives on Maui and is very helpful. The property is very clean and modern. No ocean view but a nice clean pool (although only open until 9 pm) Permanent residents were friendly and helpful. Not too far from the highway, shops, and restaurants.

Fantastic Property This property has everything we needed to enjoy Maui. They had a cooler, chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards and snorkel gear. The condo itself was charming. I appreciated the laundry detergent already on property. I would only suggest a new kitchen table that wasn’t so wobbly — but our family would stay here again on our next trip.
