It was the perfect place for us to stay close to the airport after extending our vacation one more night. Rate was reas Positive: Very quaint. Easy check in process. Bed was comfortable. Negative: Walls were thin - I could hear someone snoring all night somewhere in the building. Room was kind of tight after spending a week in a condo.

Beautiful historic property, spacious rooms, helpful staff. Positive: Great location. Beautiful, historic property. Very helpful staff. Negative: Breakfast the first day was terrific...shakshuka eggs. Breakfasts on the other days didn't meet our needs as well since we are vegetarian and don't care for a lot of bread.

Fantastic stay, would love to visit again! Positive: Beautiful space, wonderful decorative touches, and the garden area was spectacular.

Hidden gem with charm, history, and a warm, welcoming feel. Positive: Wonderful staff. Lovely, clean rooms with all the typical amenities. Free parking on site. Delicious breakfast - far beyond what we expected. Easy access to main roads for traveling out of the area. Negative: Not a problem for us, but might be a little far from touristy areas for a typical traveler. Good proximity to Iao Valley and easy drive to other parts of the island.

We felt we found a gem near the heart of Wailuku. Positive: The cleanliness of our room and furnishings was great. We thanked Lupe for her hard work and diligence. We enjoyed the breakfast fare - the food was delicious. The grounds are well kept - we loved the old trees and plants that have grown into trees. Negative: Voices and sounds from the adjacent room at night made it difficult to sleep at night. But other than that, we loved staying there! We will plan to stay there again and book the rooms upstairs.

Miserable communication and Disrespectfullness Positive: First off. Listing doesn’t show rooms as the property goes by. Incredibly difficult to deal with, always had to have the last word and were beyond disrespectful. The suite with a “garden view” o my is good if you want to stand by the window. Further, they list suites as two of the ones I stayed in. They are only a room and certainly nothing representing the meaning of “suite.” I’d stay in the car next time over this, that poor of service. Finally, Breakfast. Cold French toast and no options. Hardly the hype they list.

So disappointing! Positive: Beautiful, beautiful house. Negative: I was misled by the listing to believe I had a premium room with a balcony. It was a very small basement room with a dark patio five feet from the guest parking. There was literally no one there; very lonely feeling and depressing. It is such a shame, because the building is lovely and this could be the most wonderful, welcoming old-school inn! Instead, although it was clean and atmospheric, it felt like a ghost hotel.

Exactly like pictures and description! It’s hard to come by clean, renovated, rentals in Hawaii and I was blown away. Best stay out of any islands so far. Thank you for such a gorgeous stay!

A very comfortable stay on a lovely room with plenty of added information about eating options and surrounding area. Positive: The furnishings were beautiful and very comfortable. There were lots of places to sit and relax comfortably both inside and outside. The gardens were a treat. The breakfast also was fabulous. Loved the choc chip pancakes! Negative: I would prefer someone on site to greet you when you check in. Having said that though, the response by text was prompt when we had a small issue.

Sehr nette Mitarbeiterin morgens beim Frühstück. Zimmer schön eingerichtet. Kissen waren für unseren Geschmack viel zu hart/dick. Leider hat 2 Nächte durchgehend ein Hund aus der Nachbarschaft gebellt und ab 6 Uhr hat man das Servicepersonal extrem gehört. Geschlafen haben wir sehr schlecht.

Charming and intimate We loved our stay there. The rooms were very comfortable and stylish. We loved the historic charm and the private courtyard. Holly was a fantastic help.

So Lovely & Comfortable! I really enjoyed staying here and soaking up the surrounding gardens. The room was so comfortable, and the service was great. I really liked the bright, airy feeling of the decor and morning sunlight coming in from the patio. Holly was a wonderful host and the rest of the staff so friendly and helpful. We loved sitting on the large front porch in the evening to unwind and enjoy the aloha at this lovely place!
